Overview

Wyatt Technology is seeking a motivated individual to join the Quality Assurance Department as a Quality Assurance Inspector. In this role, the individual will be responsible for performing inspections and tests on incoming parts and material to ensure that inputs to Wyatt production and service operations meet all requirements.

This individual will be able to work with a variety of mechanical, electrical, optical, and fluid testing equipment and will prepare associated test reports.

This is a full-time, in-person position based in Goleta, California. The general base pay for this position ranges from $39,000/year to $52,000/year. Pay is based on several factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.



Responsibilities

    Perform various inspection tasks, including mechanical, electrical, optical, and fluid testing of incoming inventory.
  • Maintain inspection logs for all inspected parts.
  • Prepare written procedures for the inspection processes.
  • Generate individual Non-Conforming Material Reports
  • Other duties and tasks deemed appropriate for the position.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Two-year degree or two-plus years of related technical experience.

Experience:

  • Experience in the use of general inspection tools, ability to read blueprints, excellent computer skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
