SCOPE:

This position will be responsible for supporting and contributing to tasks and projects associated with recruitment of new corporate partners and retention of current partners in support of the March of Dimes mission. This role offers an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to drive revenue and brand visibility for March of Dimes and make a significant impact on maternal and infant health.

Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Engagement, this position will be responsible for outreach communications of new business prospects and coordinating current partner deliverables. In addition, this position will design engaging presentations using graphics to maximize visual impact and create valuable partnership frameworks that utilize brand marketing, PR, social media, events, employee engagement and mission impact to bring partnerships to life beyond the pitch deck. They will also provide and design sales tools for the markets to utilize at scale. In addition, tasks such as: managing the stewardship program and developing resources to thank our donors in a consistent and streamlined ways and Senior leadership projects such as Board of Trustee slide design, CEO speaking engagement slide design, and other special mission-related projects. This role works to set March of Dimes apart from other nonprofit partners and positions the organization as best-in-class.

The Senior Manager will be responsible for tracking and managing all contract activations for the department contracts which equate to a value of $10-$15M annually. This will require the position to liaise with multiple departments within the organization and work directly with external partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Define account-specific stewardship strategies that deepen partner engagement with MOD and foster mutually beneficial, sustainable, revenue generating partnerships.


    • Provide stewardship and account management support for existing national corporate partnerships to maintain high retention and grow revenue through writing and designing personalized partnership impact reports, case studies, and proposals for renewed or increased investment.
    • Completion of duties enhances revenue generation and retention.


  • Develop and execute outbound communication strategy including developing a corporate engagement newsletter and other campaigns to communicate to leads and donors.


    • Enhance lead generation strategy for the national Corporate Engagement team, leveraging Salesforce marketing automation software to write and deploy cold outreach emails to support and accelerate the sales process and convert cold leads to warm opportunities.
    • Publish corporate audience e-newsletter aimed at existing and prospective corporate partners, including writing content and creating the design and layout, to showcase nonprofit/corporate collaborations, recognize existing partnership impact, and engage prospects to boost new revenue opportunities.
    • Completion of duties supports pipeline development and revenue growth.



  • Track and manage all contract activations for the department. Responsible for liaising with multiple internal departments.

    • Manage internal system for monitoring national corporate partnership deliverables, activations, and deadlines across multiple accounts and their varying project scopes and contract periods.
    • Completion of duties ensures that internal departments are informed and workflows remain intact and productive.


  • Work with VP/Directors to develop comprehensive solicitation plans and powerful pitch presentations that outline stakeholder involvement and strategic approach for cultivation and solicitation of partner commitment. Also work to create proposals at scale for the markets to use.


    • Create organization-wide sales enablement tools for use by national and market-level teams, including pitch decks, campaign reports, sponsorship proposals, webpages, and one-pagers to attract corporate audiences and support new revenue growth.
    • Produce custom proposals and visual presentations, providing the writing, editing, layout, and design, for prospective national corporate partners to illustrate concepts and opportunities that move prospects through the sales funnel toward conversion in support of new business growth.

  • Create key messages document and MOD.org web presence for every applicable partner to be used for marketing integration and completion of deliverables.


    • Write key messages, webpage content, and other multi-media communications for new and existing corporate partners to articulate alignment in a shared mission, inform marketing activity, and streamline partnership integration to ensure fulfillment of each partner's philanthropic and marketing objectives.
    • Completion of duties positions March of Dimes as a premiere partner, supports band integrity and awareness, and ensures that required deliverables are met and communicated.


  • Support labor union partners' fundraising efforts by developing communications tools and providing event support and coordination to increase revenue.


    • Completion of duties enables nationwide fundraising and revenue generation.



EXPERIENCE



  • 3 to 5 years experience
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Project management experience
  • Microsoft Suite (with high aptitude in PowerPoint)
  • Adobe Creative: InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Desktop Publishing: Graphic Design and Layout
  • Writing/Editing/Proofreading
  • Skilled ability to adhere to both editorial and design brand guidelines
  • Comfortability in external meeting settings
  • Sales and nonprofit experience a plus

  • Ability to handle multiple projects, innovative, stewardship, exceptional customer service (internal and external), storyteller, highly organized, and able to intuit partner needs.
