Manufacturing company isseeking a highly organized and proactive Human Resources Generalist to support key HR functions, including payroll processing, benefits administration, recruiting, employee onboarding, and personnel file management. This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth HR operations while maintaining compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

Key Responsibilities Payroll & Benefits Administration
  • Collect and process payroll-related data, including expense reports, bonuses, and department changes.
  • Ensure accuracy in payroll submissions and coordinate with external payroll providers for processing.
  • Maintain employee records, including payroll files and benefits enrollment.
  • Assist in managing employee benefits, guiding new hires through enrollment, and addressing inquiries.
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Manage job requisitions, ensuring proper approvals before posting.
  • Post job openings across multiple platforms, including job boards and university networks.
  • Screen applicants and coordinate interviews with department managers.
  • Oversee pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug testing.
  • Facilitate onboarding, including offer letters, orientation sessions, and training coordination.
HR Administration & Compliance
  • Maintain company organizational charts and personnel records.
  • Send reminders for employee performance evaluations and review processes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in HR-related training and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5years of HR experience.
  • Some college coursework in HR or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of initiative and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical HR practices.
  • Well-organized and results-driven approach.
