THE JOB:
As a Master Cook, your main job is to help prepare food as directed by the Chef. You'll also play a big role in making guests feel welcome with your friendly attitude and great service. By understanding what makes each guest special, you'll help create unforgettable dining experiences that leave a lasting impression-making their visit one to remember!

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Prepare and cook food following the Chef's instructions, including portion sizes, sauces, and garnishes.
• Set up your workstation based on guidelines from the Chef and kitchen leaders.
• Check the quality, taste, and presentation of food before serving.
• Ensure customer orders are prepared correctly and meet expectations.
• Follow health and safety rules, keeping food at the right temperature using thermometers.
• Complete closing tasks as directed by kitchen leaders.
• Assign tasks to other team members as instructed by the chefs.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• At least 18 years old
• High School Diploma, Ged or equivalent
• A minimum of 1 year working as an Wok Cook/ Master Cook with Wok station experience
• At least 2 years experience in a high volume restaurant
• Proven experience as a wok cook or in a similar role in an Asian cuisine restaurant.

The starting rate for this role is:

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
