You Have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have EVOV and EMT-B certification or higher.
- Must have valid drivers license.
- Ability and willingness to work rotating day and night shifts and rotating shifts in a 24/7 operation.
- Ability to climb stairs/ladders, balance, bend, kneel, sit and stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally face to face and over the phone.
Your Purpose: You will ensurethe safety of all people and property at the location by monitoring traffic into and out of the location, and by performing other related responsibilities that contribute to the location's safety. Your Work:
- Guardentrance gates and controls trafficin and out ofplant.
- Login and directvisitors, vendors, and contractors to appropriate locations of plant.
- Administerfirst-aid treatment to sick or injired persons an transports to medical facility if necessary.
- Removeor assistin removal of injured persons from scene of accident.
- Communicatewith professional medical personnel regarding treatment and handling of sick or injured people.
- Trainfor andassistin technical rescues.
- Inspectoutgoing traffic to prevent unauthorized removal of company property.
- Answerphones and tranfercalls to appropriate department.
- Performroutine inspections of fire extinguishers and maintains inventory.
- Keepprotective equipment and vehicles maintained.
- Conductonsite drug or alcohol tests at directed by plany management.
- Communicatehigh alert weather conditions to all plant personnel.
