Description

Job Summary:

The HR Coordinator will assist with day-to-day HR department operations, which include key functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and administrative HR duties. This position requires strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for supporting employees throughout their lifecycle within the company. This is a full-time, 4-month temporary assignment.

Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HR
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
  • Assists with processing of terminations.
  • Assists with recruitment and interview processes. Tracks candidates' status in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
  • Schedules for meetings and interviews as requested by HR. Department leader
  • Make photocopies; mail, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • Prepares new-employee files.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Support with employee engagement activities

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.



Education and Experience:



  • Associate's degree or HS diploma
  • At least two years of related experience is required.
  • Spanish or Vietnamese are plus



Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Pay Range - $24.00 - $30.00

Status: FT, Temporary 4-month assignment
