Position Summary

The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support, primarily assisting with HR Operations and Talent Acquisition including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and operational activities.

Responsibilities



  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates and hiring managers, and updating the applicant tracking system.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including the communication of pre-hire actions, notification to all company stakeholders, ensuring a smooth experience for new employees.
  • Support off-boarding processes by initiating exit surveys, sending departure instructions and ensuring exit data is accurately recorded.
  • Assist with the administration of HR and Talent Acquisition programs, policies, and procedures
  • Prepare HR and Talent Acquisition metrics and reports
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR administrative workflows and enhance operational effectiveness
  • Ensure Support the HR and Talent Acquisition programs by ensuring practices are compliant with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.


Experience:



  • 1 to 3 years' experience in administrative roles, preferably in HR with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive and solutions driven mindset
  • Discreet and professional, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with care


Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:



  • Proven experience in HR and/or recruitment coordination, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills


Technical Systems Proficiency:



  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with ATS (ApplicantPro, Workday, etc.)
  • Experience with HRIS - ADP Workforce NOW


Travel Required:



  • Up to 10 % travel required

  • U.S. Citizenship required



Physical Requirements:



  • Carrying: able to carry documents and/or electronic equipment up to 20lbs/9kg.
  • Lifting: able to lift documents and/or electronic equipment up to 20lbs/9kg.
  • Pushing/Pulling: able to push/pull items in office areas.
  • Sitting: able to sit for extended periods of time at computer and in meetings.
  • Squatting/Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves.
  • Standing: able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice.
  • Walking: able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.
