Our Sr Terminal Scheduling Advisor plays a vital role in Enbridge's operations. In this role, you are primarily responsible for a moderately complex pipeline, storage, and marine scheduling activities and problem solving for a 24/7 marine terminal. What you will do:

Provides fully qualified commodity scheduling services by:

  • Providing technical, business and commercial input into the design, adaptation and implementation of the scheduling service program within a 24/7 real-time full notice of shipment schedule and rolling 10-day windows, provide detailed analysis of scheduled product movement and manage conflicts* in the system with customers.

  • Working closely with Control Centre Operations (CCO) to manage system-wide issues

  • Supporting a moderately complex customer portfolio, e.g., develop creative solutions within the constraints of customer agreements, regulations and facility assets

  • Representing Scheduling as a subject matter expert (SME) on topics of current and future commercial and technical opportunities and solutions within Liquids Pipelines, e.g., Business Development, Pipeline Integrity, CCO, Service Delivery pods to meet metrics and margins, Facility or Supply Representatives

Provides operational support and coordination by:

  • Monitoring, measuring, prioritizing, and executing all aspects of the assigned portfolio's activities.

  • Supporting and assisting with statistical and historical data, e.g., Key Performance Indicator tracking and measurement adjustment, market intelligence, customer issue resolution logs, etc.

  • Maintaining records in accordance with established policies and procedures, e.g., SOX.

  • Providing guidance to junior staff; Championing or assisting with studies of continuous improvement of the enterprise's scheduling systems and processes

Who You Are:

You have the following education & experience:

  • Eight or more years of directly related experience or equivalent, e.g., scheduling, operations, logistics, nominations, trades sales, etc.

  • Aptitude and communications skills related to acting independently as fully qualified professional in a high pressure/high impact area.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.

  • Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.

  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment.

  • Stress levels can be above normal as numerous, often competing interests must be managed concurrently.

  • Minimal travel.

  • Work hours include core business hours and non-core business hours (evenings and/or weekends, as necessary).

Physical Requirements:

Include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement. Mobility to walk in outdoor conditions that occasionally involve uneven and slippery terrain and to enter and exit excavations. Agility with the ability to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and other devices using feet and legs, and/or hands and arms.

Include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
