Job Purpose:

Work to advance Honda's efforts to form collaborative partnerships between government, industry, and academia that support the company's current and future workforce initiatives, focused in the areas of talent, community, and partnerships.

Key Accountabilities:



  • Talent - Develop a strategic workforce pipeline for current and future business needs within Honda
  • Coordinate activations/engagements focused on talent at all age levels (job shadowing, plant tours, speaking events, conferences, capstones, large scale pipeline events, letters of support, general relationship establishment, PDCA of events, KPI reporting)
  • Set, track, and report KPIs for each activation/engagement
  • PDCA activation/engagement
  • Determine path-forward for all partnerships and report to Talent Acquisition
  • Community - Establish strategic relations with community members to support workforce development strategies
  • Coordinate activations/engagements focused on community (plant tours, speaking events, workforce-focused community content, Manufacturing Day, general relationship establishment, PDCA of events, KPI reporting)
  • Set, track, and report KPIs for each activation/engagement
  • PDCA activation/engagement
  • Determine path-forward for all partnerships and report to Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Partnership - Utilize government, academic, and industry relationships to ensure Honda's interests are represented externally
  • Support all external partnerships focused on workforce and the internal assigned representatives to each role
  • Participate in workforce-focused board meetings and events
  • Attend all workforce-focused conferences
  • Set, track, and report KPIs for each partnership
  • PDCA partnership
  • Determine path-forward for all partnerships and report to Government and Industry Relations
  • Overarching workforce strategy participation with HDMA and AHM key leadership to set 3-5 year workforce goals/needs within MMC



Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 10-15 years of experience at a Honda facility(s)
  • 1-3 years participating in workforce partnership activities
  • Strong business acumen
  • Project management skills for large projects



Working Conditions:



  • No physical requirements necessary
  • Office environment combined with remote work (hybrid work schedule)
  • O/T and weekend work as needed to meet deliverables
  • Domestic travel to HDMA/AHM/Partner Facilities/US Gov Agency Locations
