Trade Planning Lead - Walmart Meals & Baking Operating Unit OVERVIEW The Walmart team is seeking two Trade Planning Leads to drive General Mills' Meals & Baking Businesses at Walmart. As the TPL for the Meals & Baking team, you will drive Walmart's omnichannel plans across Dry Meals, Baking, Refrigerated Baking, & Frozen Businesses. This role offers a truly differential opportunity to work cross functionally within General Mills to provide growth opportunity and execution of key strategies with the customer. Strong candidates for this role will require strategic thought and be a self-starter who is highly organized and assertive to focus on storytelling to influence GMI's e-commerce strategies and initiatives. We are also seeking a candidate who will make an impact on our Walmart Business Center's team culture. This role is based in the WM Business Center in Rogers, AR, and candidates are required to live within the area due to the regular meeting cadence with our customers. - Ownership for results, including trade spend and volume. Including maintaining accurate planning and spending information in the trade planning system, educating others on the importance of trade planner accuracy
- Actively participate in the design of feature programs and coordinate with internal teams to optimize GMI resources and strengthen their effectiveness
- Partner cross-functionally with Customer Marketing, Shopper Insights, Order Ops, Brand Team, Finance and E-commerce teams to build holistic media, search, display and content plans.
SELLING EXPERTISE & LEADERSHIP
- Understand customer needs and link them to General Mills product and service strategies to develop mutually beneficial business plans
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to lead the development of multi-year strategic growth plans
PROBLEM SOLVING & ANALYTICS
- Utilize Walmart data (Scintilla) paired with Nielsen data to identify issues and opportunities
- Retrieve and analyze customer and consumer data to understand category and/or industry trends
- Leverage customer performance data and analytics to generate actionable insights, strategies, and business recommendations to accelerate performance and competitiveness
- Understand and leverage category management capabilities to drive GMI distribution growth and assortment optimization

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience in sales, account management, trade funding, category management or other relevant experience
- Successful demonstration of analytical skills using various data sources (e.g. Scintilla, Nielsen, IRI, CPM, sales data)
- Must be proficient in software packages (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong decision-making and negotiation skills
- Experience working in matrixed/cross-functional organizations
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- Open to future relocation opportunities within the sales organization

- International relocation (outside of the US) will not be considered.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $79500.00 - $119400.00 / Annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
