Volkswagen Group of America's 6 - month Co-Op Program targets undergraduate students entering their Junior or Senior years who are eager to acquire practical, real-world experience in the automotive industry. This program is designed for high potential, highly mobile, and self-starter candidates with a strong interest in the automotive industry. Focused on the development of professional and technical competencies as well as on-the-job-training, our Co - Op Program is an excellent opportunity to explore career choices early on. Program Information:

* 6 - month (Summer and Fall) Start Date (non-negotiable): June 2, 2025

* Program Duration: June 2, 2025 - December 23, 2025

Role Summary:

The Co-Op will gain knowledge of Technical Project Management at VW. This will include the processes for evaluating and implementing features within VW products, as well as the systems/tools used.

Supporting with pre-production builds, the intern will gain an understanding of the change management process and the launch of new products.

Role Responsibilities:



  • Align the technical requirements for future features implementation for Chattanooga Projects
  • Report the technical requirements in Product Committees on behalf of Engineering
  • Act as the liaison for Engineering for open tasks in various Product Committees
  • Support in tracking/closing open pre-production issues (such as Buildability and Bill of Material errors) for future products
  • Help the Technical Project Management team in developing advanced project management tools
