Pay: $19.88/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Summer hours: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM)

As a MIG/Flux Core & Submerged Arc Pipe Welder, you will weld and fabricate carbon and stainless steel, pressure vessels, and pipe work. Using plasma cutters, oxy-fuel, and welding techniques, you'll ensure high-quality welds while following safety standards and interpreting engineering drawings with minimal supervision.

Essential Functions:



  • Weld carbon and stainless steel using MIG, Flux Core, and Submerged Arc techniques
  • Select welding wire, gas, flux, and cutting methods as needed
  • Work in various welding positions (flat, overhead, vertical)
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Operate hand and power tools (grinders, hammers, plate rolls)
  • Create jigs or fixtures for tasks
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace
  • Perform additional tasks to support production



Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of experience in MIG, Flux Core, and Submerged Arc welding
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, stooping, walking)
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
