Join a small but dedicated warehouse team in Salt Lake City where you will play a crucial role in delivering life-changing prosthetics, orthotics and mobility solutions that help people stay active, feel confident and keep moving. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you'll help keep things running smoothly by making sure our cycle counts are accurate, spotting FIFO (first in, first out) opportunities, double-checking product labels and overstock, and being the go-to person for inventory audits.

This position is fully onsite working Mon-Fri, 6:30am to 3pm.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensure the warehouse operates efficiently, keeping parts in the right place at the right time to deliver products to customer.
  • Maintain accurate inventory by analyzing and resolving issues related to MRP settings, materials requisitions, inventory values, and product movement (e.g., BOM, movement tickets).
  • Own the cycle count program for all storage locations and support plant-wide inventory projects, including physical inventory and month-end reporting.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for SAP inventory issues and assist with troubleshooting and training for shipping/receiving errors.
  • Cross-reference materials information, units of measure, and MRP data to support inventory accuracy and supply needs.
  • Support logistics operations as needed, including acting as back-up to the Logistics Coordinator and floating between shipping, receiving, and material handling areas.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and scheduling requirements while working under moderate supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED. Associat's Degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in inventory control.
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or move products.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain processes and procedures.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Frequently stand, walk, lift, climb, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Occasionally sit, carry, pull, and perform medium to heavy tasks.
  • Environment could vary with cold and heat temperature changes.
  • Occasionally work in noisy, hazardous conditions.
  • Perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and coordination.
