Position Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Wage: $28.00 - $30.00/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 4:00pm - 2:00am (Monday - Friday) Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician with a passion for hands-on work? Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities: - Perform preventive maintenance and daily production line maintenance on all production equipment in addition to performing daily production and material handling tasks throughout the entire production line - Inspect and identify equipment in need of repair - Utilize manuals and online research to determine necessary equipment repairs - Order supplies and materials needed for repair and maintenance - Maintain and operate production equipment - Perform daily product testing and production checks - Ensure paperwork is completed correctly and accurately - Maintain accurate inventory records and provides counts and other recordkeeping functions as needed - Fill in other warehouse functions as needed and assists with daily shut down of production, including daily production line maintenance - Use forklift to move raw materials and finished goods around the plant and on/off semitrailers Requirements for Industrial Maintenance Mechanic: - High School Diploma or equivalent - At least five years of maintenance experience preferred - At least one year of forklift and skid steer experience preferred - Able to handle multiple priorities and prioritize tasks - Able to use hand and power tools - Able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Able to work overtime as needed - Able to pass company screening process - Basic math skills Benefits: - 401(k) - Dental insurance - Health insurance - Health savings account - Paid time off fonddulac@qpsemployment.com IN044 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
