About the role We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to support management in effectively understanding and managing the performance of the business. This role will help plan guidance and communicate targets as well as developing drivers-based models and improving management reporting. Providing leadership, effectively delivering timely reporting and communications to facilitate alignment of business objectives are key requirements for this role. This position is hybrid (3 days per week in office) and is located in Austin, Texas. About the team Auctane's Finance team is responsible for driving key strategic initiatives, generating insights into business performance, and leading financial decisions across the Company. We partner with Senior Management and business unit leaders by providing effective decision-making support to drive long-term business performance. We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to partner with business stakeholders to forecast and track operating expenditures and advise on future budgeting. Knowledge of forecasting models and processes and understanding business drivers are key requirements for this position. Ultimately, you will help stakeholders understand their spend and ensure that expenses align with business objectives. What will you be doing? Developing financial forecasts and budgets to track operating expenses for business stakeholders Contribute to cross-functional initiatives by performing data analysis and modeling Coordinating with the rest of the FP&A team to produce monthly forecasts and long-term financial plans Interpret data and provide recommendations to GTM business leadership Establishing financial policies and maintaining confidentiality of financial information and decisions What are we looking for? Three to five years of work experience in Finance, Business Operations, Revenue Operations, or similar roles Advanced skills with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel Proficient with SQL or exposure (Looker, Redash, etc.) and desire to learn Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP) (preferably Netsuite) Excellent analytical skills, a proactive communicator and self-starter Ability to present financial data using reports and charts and communicate results clearly Strong financial modeling skills Strong written and oral interpersonal skills Agile, flexible, and responsive approach to work BS degree in Finance, Accounting or related field What will make you stand out? Relevant professional certification or degree, such as CPA, CFA, or MBA Interest in e-Commerce The Tech Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas) Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slide, etc.) Prior experience with SQL (Looker, Redash, etc.) What do we offer?
