Analyze and interpret large-scale proteomic datasets, including mass spectrometry (MS) data.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize bioinformatics pipelines for proteomics, including protein identification, quantification, post-translational modification (PTM) and immunopeptidomic analysis.
  • Integrate proteomic data with other omics datasets (e.g., genomics, transcriptomics) for comprehensive biological insights.
  • Collaborate with experimental scientists to design proteomics experiments and validate bioinformatics findings.
  • Apply statistical analysis and data visualization techniques to interpret complex biological data.
  • Maintain and update databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in bioinformatics tools, algorithms, and proteomics research.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, manuscripts, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Qualifications:

  • D. or M.Sc. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Proteomics, or a related field.
  • Expertise in analyzing proteomic datasets.
  • Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and software for proteomics (e.g., MaxQuant, Proteome Discoverer, Spectronaut, Skyline).
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or similar, for data analysis and pipeline development.
  • Familiarity with statistical methods for large-scale data analysis.
  • Understanding of protein biology, including protein structure, function, and post-translational modifications.
  • Experience integrating multi-omics data (e.g., genomics, transcriptomics) is a plus.

Core Skills:

  • Experience with cloud computing environments for large-scale data analysis.
  • Knowledge of machine learning approaches in proteomics.
  • A track record of peer-reviewed publications in proteomics or bioinformatics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
