General Purpose of Job: Responsible for the delivery of exceptional coordination, support, assistance, and administration required to successfully execute key initiatives for Talent Acquisition department. Essential Duties: This job description is intended to cover the minimum essential duties assigned on a regular basis. Caregivers may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned by their leader. Leadership has the right to alter or modify the duties of the position.
- Support all activities associated with Talent Acquisition department including, coordinating recruitment events, on-site interviews and tours, travel arrangements, meetings, processing of expense forms, etc
- Works in team environment on an assigned work group (nursing work group and/or business & ancillary work group), understanding the process flow of all aspects of Recruitment, sourcing and onboarding to effectively facilitate new hire onboarding with a high level of customer service.
- Responsible for coordinating the billing and invoicing with recruitment events, advertisements, career fairs and other Talent Acquistion incurred expenses.
- Provides support to work group team members by screening applications, scheduling interviews and conducting phone screens as needed.
- Coordinate New Hire Onboarding functions, such as pre-employment screening, references, background checks and educational verifications, new hire paperwork, and various reports, etc.
- Works collaboratively with Employee Health to ensure that all new hires are cleared appropriately for a timely start with Sparrow.
- Support, manage and assist with communication for any/all Talent Acquisition programs as needed
- Maintain new Caregiver and non-Caregiver files to ensure compliance with The Joint Commission regulations and requirements.
- Act as liaison with temporary staffing agencies; coordinating the approval and placement process for temporary staff.
- Evaluates processes and implements changes on a continuous basis to improve productivity, efficiency and accuracy of work.
- May provide occasional receptionist coverage at the Human Resources front desk area

Work Experience |
2-4 years experience working in Human Resources. 1 year experience working with applicant tracking tools and databases. Experience with MS Access and HRIS software, preferred. |
Education |
Associate's degree in Human Resources, business, or related field and minimum of two years experience working in Human Resources OR High School Diploma/GED and four years experience working in Human Resources. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business or related field, preferred. |
Specialized Knowledge and Skills |
Excellent writing and editing skills for multiple media channels and formats. Excellent customer service. Knowledge of recruiting practices. Able to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, including leadership and external liaisons. Must be flexible in order to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities; able to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple, detailed tasks. Able to follow directions and work independently as well as within a team environment. Able to be a proactive self-starter who understands the details within a much larger context. Must pay attention to details and have the ability to follow up and follow through. Demonstrates a positive, proactive, and self-directed approach. Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills.
