We are seeking a highly qualified Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Optum Health. This role involves a wide range of administrative and executive support duties, requiring flexibility, confidentiality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Executive Support: Prioritize and manage action items, follow-ups, and tasks for the CEO with minimal supervision
  • Calendar Management: Strategically manage and coordinate complex schedules, meetings, events, and travel arrangements
  • Communication: Exhibit superior customer service skills in all interactions, both internal and external
  • Event Planning: Organize and manage external events, site visits, and business development activities
  • Project Management: Handle special projects and department-specific assignments, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with department leads to enhance organizational processes

Required Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of administrative experience in support of senior executives in a highly matrixed organization
  • Experience supporting C-suite executives
  • Experience supporting multiple executives within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience arranging Microsoft Teams virtual meetings
  • Experience coordinating large meetings for senior leadership
  • Advanced proficiency within Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously with extreme attention to detail
  • Proven excellent verbal and written communication and grammatical skills
  • Proven to have a polished demeanor and be comfortable working with people at all levels
  • Proven executive presence and high degree of professionalism
  • Proven to be available and flexible to work weeknights and weekends, as needed
  • Proven comfortable working in ever changing, high demand environment
  • Ability to work in El Segundo, CA office



Preferred Qualifications:



  • 10+ years administrative support experience, 6+ of which have included support of senior executives
  • SharePoint experience



The hourly range for this role is $23.70 to $46.35 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
