Position Overview: New York Life is seeking an experienced and dynamic Early Career Talent Acquisition Lead to oversee the strategy and execution of our internship program recruiting strategy. This role is responsible for driving recruitment efforts, building the New York Life brand with early career talent, and managing a team of campus recruiters and campus coordinators. The successful candidate will be passionate about attracting top talent, creating engaging events, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. This position will collaborate closely with hiring managers, HR business partners, and business program managers to support the recruitment and selection of future interns and early career talent. Additionally, this role will support the design and execution of the summer intern program in partnership with the Head of Early Career Program Management. What You'll Do:
- Recruiting Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract early career talent primarily for the New York Life internship program.
- Create and execute talent pipeline strategies through targeted outreach and recruitment efforts.
- Design and manage multi-channel engagement campaigns to promote the New York Life brand on college campuses via social media, live events, and virtual events.
- Campus Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Build and foster relationships with key stakeholders, including HR business partners, hiring managers, and college/university representatives.
- Lead and oversee the college/university engagement strategy, ensuring the appropriate balance between virtual and in-person recruitment efforts.
- Engage with campus organizations, student groups, and university career services to enhance visibility and recruitment efforts.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Manage and lead a team of campus recruiters and coordinators to execute recruitment strategies and ensure a high-quality candidate experience.
- Collaborate closely with the Early Career Program Manager to design and deliver an exceptional summer intern program.
- Selection & Assessment Process:
- Partner with hiring managers to define selection criteria, assessment tools, and interview processes for interns.
- Ensure that the selection process is streamlined and effectively supports the identification of high-potential candidates.
- Event Management & Execution:
- Plan and execute recruitment events such as on-campus events, virtual networking sessions, information sessions, and student-led engagement opportunities.
- Ensure smooth logistics and a professional, engaging experience for all event participants.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Utilize candidate tracking systems and recruitment data to monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), driving insights and continuous improvement in recruitment efforts.
- Leverage data to inform strategic decision-making and optimize recruitment outcomes.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in campus recruitment or early career talent acquisition, with at least 2 years of management experience.
- Proven success in developing and executing recruitment strategies for internship and entry-level programs.
- Experience building and fostering relationships with academic institutions, student organizations, and key stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in using recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and data analysis for reporting and decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience managing or working with internship programs in a corporate environment.
- Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies for employer branding.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry or related sectors.
Pay Transparency Salary Range:$108,000 - $125,000 Overtime eligible:Exempt Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes Sales bonus eligible:No Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
