This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance. We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Task Manager to provide leadership and technical expertise for a Department of Defense (DoD) Air Force (AF) contract. This critical role requires a candidate with extensive experience in IT management, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of managing complex IT services and projects within the DoD or similar high-stakes environments. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with DoD enterprise infrastructure, governance, and policies, as well as the necessary security clearances and certifications. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Senior Task Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and manage IT services and projects for the DoD AF contract, ensuring alignment with DoD policies, governance, and regulatory standards.
- Oversee the execution of complex IT management initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, compliance, and security standards.
- Lead teams in the implementation of Information Assurance Management (IAM) policies and procedures at a high level.
- Develop and revise policy and strategy documents to ensure they align with DoD objectives and evolving security protocols.
- Collaborate with DoD leadership and key stakeholders to ensure all projects align with strategic objectives and are executed within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Provide technical expertise and strategic guidance to senior leadership on enterprise IT infrastructure, governance, and security practices.
- Maintain strong relationships with DoD leadership, federal agencies, and industry partners, promoting collaboration and compliance.
- Mentor and develop IT professionals, fostering a high-performance team culture focused on continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate proficiency in NIST frameworks and Zero Trust methodologies, ensuring the enterprise architecture remains secure and compliant with federal regulations and cybersecurity best practices.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Senior Task Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level 3 certification.
- Minimum of 8 years of IT management experience, including:
- Leading progressively larger and more complex IT management services and projects for the DoD, federal agencies, or Fortune 400 organizations.
- Expertise in DoD enterprise infrastructure, governance, policies, and procedures.
- Proven ability to lead complex, high-priority IT projects and manage cross-functional teams.
- Ability to develop and execute IT strategies in alignment with DoD and federal regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior leaders and stakeholders at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of DoD security frameworks, IAM policies, and industry best practices, including NIST standards and Zero Trust architectures.
- Ability to engage and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across multiple agencies, ensuring compliance and successful execution of projects.
