Your Day-to-Day:

Working on a solar farm project offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainable energy initiatives. The candidate will play a key role in the preparation and development of a renewable energy source, aligning with the growing global emphasis on clean energy.

This position demands a strong background in civil construction/inspection to address the unique challenges of the site and to ensure all civil work is completed efficiently and to the required standards.

Resources will be responsible for the following:

• Site Preparation: The candidate will work closely with contractors to ensure that the ground is properly prepared for driving piles, which are essential for the solar farm structure. This involves ensuring the terrain is stabilized and suitable for construction.
• Civil Work Oversight: Due to the nature of the land, significant civil work must be completed before solar installation. The candidate will oversee these civil operations, ensuring they meet project standards.
• SWIP and Wastewater Plan: The candidate may also be responsible for ensuring compliance with the storm water and wastewater management plan (SWIP) and handling any related issues.
• Technical Support: The candidate will handle any general technical or civil-related questions that arise during the project, ensuring that the civil work aligns with both regulatory and project-specific requirements. This position demands a strong background in civil construction/inspection to address the unique challenges of the site and to ensure all civil work is completed efficiently and to the required standards.
• Hands-On Role in Major Infrastructure Development: The civil engineering challenges, such as the sandy and hilly terrain, provide the candidate with the chance to utilize and expand their expertise in managing complex civil projects. This type of work offers practical, real-world problem-solving experience in a large-scale project.
• Career Growth and Impact: The role offers significant responsibility and visibility, working closely with contractors and handling key aspects of the project such as site preparation, compliance with stormwater and wastewater plans, and technical problem-solving.

Who Are You:

• 5-7 years of experience with the following: Civil Construction and Inspection Expertise: The role is heavily centered around civil construction, with a focus on ensuring correct grading and land preparation.
• Experience in civil engineering or construction inspection is essential for overseeing the site preparation and excavation processes.
• Soil Identification and Site Assessment: A key requirement is the ability to identify different types of soil, as this will impact the preparation and stabilization of the land for solar farm installation.
• Experience with land surveying or soil assessment is vital.
• Trenching and Excavation Experience: Hands-on experience with digging trenches and excavation is important, as the role involves working on site preparation and ensuring the terrain is ready for construction.
• Strong Safety Background: Safety is a top priority for this role. The candidate must have a solid background in safety protocols to ensure compliance and safety standards are maintained throughout the project.
• Renewable Energy Experience (Preferred, but not required): While not mandatory, experience with renewable energy projects, especially solar farms, is a plus and would enhance the candidate's ability to understand the specific requirements of the project
