Summary:
The Director of Enrollment Management oversees the recruitment and enrollment of candidates for all School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM) undergraduate degree programs. The incumbent is responsible for development and implementation of strategic marketing plans for all STHM undergraduate degree programs, in collaboration with the larger enrollment team in the Fox School of Business. The Director manages the recruitment process and the delivery of information sessions, presentations, and customized promotional events on-campus and off-campus for all degree programs, collaborating with the Fox School of Business enrollment management teams when appropriate. They develop off-campus recruiting strategies for domestic school/college fairs and events and are responsible for assessing prospective candidate leads, building and maintaining relationships with candidates that span across the enrollment timeline, from inquiry to registration. The Director will develop and implement all recruitment and yield activities for STHM as well as work closely with the STHM units on school-wide recruitment initiatives. The Director is the primary liaison to all existing STHM undergraduate transfer partners and is responsible for the development of new relationships across the United States with a specific focus on community colleges offering online programs. This individual will also work closely with the Veterans and Military Affairs Center to attract more veterans to STHM.

Develop and implement all recruitment and retention activities for STHM undergraduate, inter-university and transfer populations, such as: customer relationship management (CRM), open house programming, campus visits, speaker events, information sessions, digital and direct mail campaigns, social media recruitment, orientation, and admitted student receptions.

Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for the recruitment and yield of students, overseeing timing of correspondence and analyzing data to evaluate campaign effectiveness.

Establish, grow, and maintain relationships with undergraduate transfer partners, feeder high schools, and military/veterans' organizations, planning and implementing outreach programming, collaborating with partners' staff to identify prospective students, attending partner events, and collaborating with the Assistant Dean of STHM to establish articulation agreements. Develop coordinated approaches to recruit international students for undergraduate degree programs by serving as primary liaison for Office of International Student Affairs, Office of International Student & Scholar Services, Fulbright Scholar organizations, and other partners.

Coordinate speakers, faculty, student representatives, and marketing materials, for recruitment events. Design and deliver presentations to promote STHM at events on campus, at partner institutions, or through digital means. Collaborate with and serve as primary liaison to centralized University and Fox administrative functions, such as: University Admissions, Recruitment Committee, Transfer Office, Center for Student Services, Center for Industry Engagement, Office of Military & Veterans Services, Temple Ambler Campus, Fox Undergraduate Enrollment, Fox/STHM Graduate Enrollment, Fox/STHM Marketing & Communications. Maintain outcomes assessment for recruitment and yield activities. Analyze and synthesize enrollment trends to create models on future enrollments, assessing demographic composition and academic quality.

Manage the undergraduate scholarship program for STHM. Make decisions regarding scholarship distributions based on approved metrics of evaluation and strategic priorities of the school. Market STHM minors and certificate programs to non-STHM Temple students by developing relationships with administrators and advisors in other schools and colleges. Collaborate with the Assistant Dean on the development and implementation of orientation and Convocation activities for incoming undergraduate students. Supervise the Graduate Externs and student recruitment ambassadors. Manage the day-to-day operations of the STHM Enrollment Office.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and at least five (5) years of experience in university/collegiate enrollment or admissions, designing and implementing initiatives for recruitment, retention, outreach, or program development. Experience working within a CRM environment to manage prospect/lead/corporate relationships. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:
*Ability to effectively communicate orally or in writing, speak publicly and present information to large groups, and form productive interpersonal relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds
*Knowledge of industry trends, approaches, metrics, benchmarks, and best practices
*Ability to analyze data, track progress, interpret results, and make informed decisions
*Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
*Ability to independently manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
*Demonstrated proficiency in computer systems and various software applications used in sales, recruiting and/or admissions (including Microsoft Office programs, constituent relationship management and student information systems).

Preferred:
*Master's degree in related field
*Knowledge and/or experience in STHM related industries - Sport, Recreation, Tourism, Hospitality, and Events.
*Experience with Sunguard Banner, Enrollment RX and/or Salesforce

This position requires a background check.

This position requires Child Abuse Certifications prior to the commencement of service.

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
