We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer in California who will plan and carry out the Reference Designs and YAGEO MPN Approvals at the assigned Semiconductor customers through direct and distribution channels in North America.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Approve YAGEO Parts on Reference Designs
  • Meet or exceed the YAGEO MPN Approval plan.
  • Develop relationships with the assigned customers.
  • Work with engineering and supply chain personnel to design in YAGEO MPN on the AVL/BOMs
  • Maintain high service level to the assigned customers.
  • Develop further opportunities crossing all the YAGEO Group product portfolio.
  • Build intra-company teamwork between the Customers' needs and Product Business Units
  • Update the trends in market and advise any adverse issues which may impact ability to reach agreed upon goals.
  • Participate in industry events, tradeshows, and customer's events.
  • Potential for up to 50% travel.



Qualifications:



  • BS degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or experience designing in Inductors.
  • Achievement driven; enjoys competitiveness and thrives on being the best and winning.
  • Has an outgoing, dynamic personality and can build outstanding relationships.
  • Wants to lead the change to grow the business and create sales opportunities that increase our position and share within the customers.
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver presentations utilizing Microsoft Office



Experience Requirements:



  • Minimum 5 years of previous sales experience with demonstrated track record of growth and interested in building upon their successful track record in sales.
  • Connections or knowledge of the Semiconductor Industry and Ecosystem.
  • Must be experienced with solutions-based selling and approach to solving customer's problems.
