Full Time Maintenance Supervisor l 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm l Occasional On-Call support as needed

The Environmental Supervisor is responsible for supervising all maintenance and housekeeping staff while maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, guests and team members.

The targeted pay range for this job is $27- $33 per hour.

Essential Job Responsibilities:



  1. Hires, trains and supervises maintenance and housekeeping staff to meet regulations and established departmental standards.
  2. Develops and maintains external vendor relationships for all maintenance, custodial, grounds, housekeeping services and for monitoring all nonmedical contractors hired to perform services on the premises.
  3. Prepares and manages annual departmental budget.
  4. Ensures community property complies with all appropriate regulations including local, state, and federal laws.
  5. Develops and maintains facility maintenance and/or programs.
  6. Performs regular preventative maintenance and repairs as required throughout property.
  7. Coordinates and trains all team members in building safety procedures, including in-services on the premises.
  8. Manages inventory control for all supplies used within department and orders supplies as needed.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Required Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous maintenance experience
  • Boiler operator's license in states where one is required, at the minimum horsepower class as designated by the governing state for the boilers on site
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Technical college
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Previous experience working in a senior care environment
