Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is looking for a Director, Operational Reports Delivery to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

The Director of Operational Reports Delivery is responsible for leading the collection, analysis, and presentation of operational data to both internal and external clients across all business segments. This role ensures data integrity and quality while delivering insightful reports and dashboards that support strategic planning and operational decision-making. The position requires managing a team of data analysts and report developers, establishing data governance frameworks, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to drive business outcomes through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Strategy & Governance: Develop and implement a comprehensive data analysis strategy aligned with business objectives. Establish and enforce data governance standards to maintain accuracy, consistency, and security.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Oversee a team of data analysts and report engineers, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance management. Assign tasks and manage project timelines to ensure timely delivery of reports and insights.
  • Reporting & Data Visualization: Design and develop dashboards and reports using industry-standard visualization tools. Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Business Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Informatics, Analytics, and Product teams, to translate business needs into data analysis and reporting requirements.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as a key liaison for clients, ensuring reporting solutions meet their needs and enhance decision-making.
  • Operational Oversight and Budget Management: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of regular and ad-hoc internal and external reports. Oversee the tactical and strategic operations of the Operational Reports Delivery group. Manage budget planning and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Compliance & Security: Adhere to corporate policies, including HIPAA regulations and related security standards.
  • Business Development: Support pre-sales activities, including estimation and scoping of reporting solutions, to drive business growth.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

The list of accountabilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other education- and experience-related duties that management may deem necessary from time to time.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in data reporting and analysis.
  • At least 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS).
  • Background in SQL, PL/SQL programming.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

  • Master's degree.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects and resources concurrently.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience developing impactful data presentations that drive business decision-making.
  • Highly motivated, collaborative, and innovative with strong technical skills.
  • Experience in analytics methodologies and technology applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop professional analytics staff within business, clinical, or technology environments.
  • Project management experience in a data-driven environment.
