A.I.S., Inc. (AIS) is a national scientific services firm supporting maritime activities requiring certification of compliance with environmental regulations as well as collecting data for use by Federal, State, Municipal, and other government agencies along the US coastline. This project will require sea turtle monitors to implement protective measures around nesting sites of sea turtles during beach construction activities. Primary Function: The sea turtle monitor will be working alongside beach nourishment operations which will be conducted from April 15th through September 1st. The sea turtle monitor will conduct nightly surveys at 1-hour intervals in the construction area to ensure that any nighttime sea turtle nesting behavior is accounted for. Duties/Responsibilities:
Compensation: Candidates will be paid an hourly rate to be negotiated. Full Time temporary position. Candidates will be eligible for AIS benefits package after completing 90 days of work.. AIS benefits package includes health and dental insurance, vacation, sick and holiday benefits. Minimum Qualifications:
