What are the Key Responsibilities:



  • Build, grow and strengthen strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support the servicing and selling of Florida Blue's products, while providing excellent customer service and support to agencies and groups.
  • Provide exceptional account management services to agencies and groups, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded, while planning and promoting and enhancing health and wellness programs, and driving retention and growth.
  • Demonstrate administrative excellence by managing personal and professional development, effectively communicating with stakeholders, and efficiently managing resources, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies.



What is Required:



  • 3+ years in a consultative business to business customer service, marketing or sales position, preferable in the health care or employee benefits arena
  • Experience managing large group clients through long term relationship building and excellent problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated success in combining strategic and tactical solutions, using knowledge and experience with that customer and their goals, knowledge of your products and/or services, and critical thinking skills
  • Current 2-15 Florida Resident Health & Life (Including Annuities & Variable Contracts) Agent License
  • Valid Drivers License and ability to drive to customer offices
  • Proven superior presentation, written, and communication and influencing skills, combined with proven success in consultative customer management strategies
  • Ability to travel approximately monthly from home base office to client locations in Tampa Metro area mostly, but could occasionally include up and down West coast of Florida
  • Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience


What is Preferred:



  • Health insurance account management or sales experience
  • Hands on experience providing account management and/or sales with large public sector groups


General Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Physical/Environmental Activities
Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work (i.e. travel to attend meetings, events, conferences). Frequently may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions of cold, heat, wet, and humidity. Occasionally may be exposed to outdoor or warehouse conditions of loud noises, vibration, fumes, dust, odors, and mists. Occasionally must be able to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, or other equipment.

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $63,800 - $79,700, within an Annualized Salary Range: $63,800 - $103,600

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
