POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide epidemiologic resources to direct studies, forecast, and analyze statistical data. Possesses an understanding of database architecture (relational, hierarchical, types of data) and the ability to extract, manipulate datasets to prepare them for solid statistical analysis. Provide analyses and trends to strategically plan for program development and publications. Provide leadership and collaboration in the design of scientific research projects. EDUCATION: Master's degree required, PhD preferred EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 yearsAaa experience with analysis experience of medical data or statistical training that was done at an academic medical center. Education in the area of epidemiology and statistics, health care background, strong computer skills, medical terminology. SPECIAL SKILLS: Proficiency in the use of one or more standard statistical packages (SPSS, SAS, R, STATA, etc.).
