Data Infrastructure Engineer

Justice Federal is seeking experienced, critical thinkers and member-driven candidates with great communication skills for the position of Data Infrastructure Engineer.

This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and the underlying infrastructure that supports efficient data storage, processing, and retrieval.

Key Job Functions:

• Designs and implements data architectures for data storage systems, including data lakes, warehouses, and databases.
• Develops and maintains Extract, Transforms, Load (ETL) pipelines to efficiently extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Monitors and optimizes database performance, ensuring fast and reliable access to data.
• Implements and manages data backup and recovery processes to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Five to eight years of similar or related experience.

• A bachelor's degree, or completion of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree. Experience as a substitution for a degree may be considered.

• Experience with the Symitar core platform and its technologies is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs., as needed, and requires extended periods of sitting and/or standing and to be able to use PC, copier, scanner, fax, etc.
