Responsibilities

The Systems Engineer (SE) is responsible for maintaining and assessing systems, determining problems, providing solutions to issues that arise; designing and upgrading systems, and brainstorming possible improvements that can be made to a system in the future. The SE will manage the day-to-day technical needs of installing, configuring, and upgrading automated dispensing cabinet (ADC) or other medical devices within the Prime hospitals. Technical expert for ADC or other medical devices and the technologies that our customers depend on. Will recommend, install, configure, and troubleshoot ADC or other medical devices as necessary, both remotely and onsite, to meet the needs of colleagues as well as healthcare customers. The SE ensures that the ADC or other medical devices perform as designed and work in harmony with the hospital environment. Maintains a department "culture" that is patient-focused and participates in teamwork, quality, integrity, and professional growth upholding the Prime Healthcare Mission and Vision at all times. Provides a positive representation of Bio-Medical Services, Inc. by integrating core values into job performance. Travel approximately 80% of the time.



Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field required.
2. A minimum of 3 years' systems engineering experience within a technology, systems, or medical device company preferred.

3. Healthcare IT industry experience preferred.

Strong planning and organization, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
5. Strong written and verbal communications skills

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and associated products
7. Familiarity with Meditech and Epic interfaces preferred.

8. Experience with automated dispensing cabinets or other medical devices; Omnicell and Pyxis BD preferred.

9. HL7 knowledge with pharmacy and supply chain background preferred.

10. Valid driver's license required upon first 60 days.

11. Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $68,640 to $89,148.80. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
