Job Skills / Requirements FCS is looking for a Director of Human Resources Professional. This Professional will be responsible for the design, development and execution of HR strategies and programs including Benefits, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Compensation, Compliance as well as Organization and Employee Development. The Director drives HR excellence and ensures that HR practices and strategies deliver the required results and are aligned with the mission and goals of the company. This position requires an individual that is a collaborative entrepreneur who is enthusiastic, hard-working, forward-thinking and fosters an environment that attracts, retains and rewards key talent in a growth-oriented environment.
Job Description
* Performance Management - Develop and/or enhance performance management processes that support a culture of increased accountability and performance.
* Employee/Organization Development - Cultivate employee engagement, retention and professional development, including evaluation of the organizational structure.
* Risk Management and Compliance - Promote a culture of compliance and continually monitor all federal, state and local requirements.
* Benefits - Manage the company's health and welfare programs and compliance needs including FMLA, ADA, ACA, LOA as well as COBRA and 401k administration.
* Employee Relations-Direct and support the development and execution of programs and strategies that empower managers to plan, evaluate, develop and improve their human resources and the performance of their teams as well as provide guidance and support to all employees on human resources related issues.
* Compensation-Manage the compensation program including conducting salary surveys, perform compensation analysis and recommendations.
* Process Improvement- Define and execute HR strategies that continually improve HR systems, workflows and processes to enable accomplishment of business needs
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or demonstrated equivalent through work experience
* 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources, with significant Business Partner or Generalist responsibility
* In depth knowledge of current HR processes and practices including, compensation, performance management, talent management and development, employee relations, and benefits.
* Experience providing HR leadership in a multi-state, fast paced and high growth organization with the ability to work under pressure.
* Solid understanding of current federal and state of employment laws, regulations and compliance requirements. Ability to gain and maintain current knowledge of state and local employment laws, regulations and compliance requirements in the states the company operates in.
* Strong business acumen, superior ability to communicate vision, influence and lead change, and deliver results while implementing methods for continuous improvement
* Strong analytical skills to identify critical issues and recommend and/or implement possible solutions
* Proven track record around building consensus, providing effective counsel and guidance, handling difficult employee relations issues with ease and resolving conflicts in a complex organization
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Experience in a Union environment to include negotiating Collective Bargaining Agreements.
* Strong vendor management skills
* High integrity, strong ethics, judgment, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in a Security or Contracting environment.
* SPHR or SHRM-CP certification
