IS Support Serv Spec - Lead

Baptist Health is looking for an IS Support Serv Spec - Lead to join our team in Lexington, KY

Supervises and leads other members of the local IT support team, while operating as an escalationpoint and resource for other IT team members. Provides highly responsive second and third-tiersupport to end users within the hospital, physician practices, and other related healthcare facilities within the market. Support scope includes but is not limited to computer hardware and relatedequipment, general software and application installation and support, and some clinical applicationand hardware support. Analyzes user needs, documents solution requirements, and revises ordevelops processes or procedures as necessary. Coordinates with other Baptist Health ITinfrastructure and application teams to deploy and support healthcare applications to ensure systemavailability and ultimately support patient care.

Support oversight includes users and equipment in the following locations:
* Main hospital campus
* Associated clinical and support facilities in the surrounding market, often off of the mainhospital campus, such as diagnostic centers, surgery centers, labs, etc.
* Baptist Health Medical Group physician practices and remote clinic locations
* Remote support for work-from-home Baptist employees within the market
* Collectively, this often includes a large geographical area within the counties surroundingthe main hospital. Both remote and on-premise support may be in scope

Essential Duties:
* Supervise and lead other members of the local IT support team, while operating as an escalationpoint and technical resource.
* Research, address, and resolve technology issues for all hospital, physician practice, and otherBaptist Health staff within the market, providing acceptable solutions within a timely manner.
* Proactive monitoring of and work within the internal ITSM platform for support incidents anddocumentation, asset tracking and management, technology change management, IT projectmanagement, as well as other technology solutions such as SharePoint, SCCM, etc.
* Represent the hospital market by participating in and potentially leading both local and systemproject initiatives as assigned by Director or Manager.
Assist the IT Director / Manager with planning, organizing, and overseeing market ITactivities. May assist with recommendations and creation of the annual IT budget, and may assist inrecruitment, selection, and training of new staff

Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required

Bachelor's degree with six years related experience, or three years direct experience
