Role: DevOps Engineer

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps Engineer with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have Extensive experience in supporting and running applications in a cloud environment specifically AWS. Proficient with automation toolsets and monitoring tools such as New Relic and SumoLogic. Skilled in CI CD pipelines and deployment methods including releasing into a 24 / environment. Experienced with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and secure cloud architectures using AWS services.
• Oversee the deployment and management of AWS resources to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide guidance on AWS best practices and Well-Architected Framework to ensure robust cloud solutions.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation and other tools.
• Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using AWS CodePipeline CodeDeploy CodeCommit and CodeBuild.
• Ensure data security and compliance by leveraging AWS Cloud Native Security and AWS WAF.
• Manage and optimize AWS EC2 instances and VPC configurations for efficient network architecture.
• Utilize AWS Backup and Amazon S3 for data protection and storage solutions.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions using AWS X-Ray and other AWS services.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate AWS IAM for secure access management.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of cloud infrastructure to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and trends to continuously improve cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework and AWS Cloud services.
• Must have hands-on experience with AWS Backup AWS X-Ray and AWS DevOps tools.
• Must be proficient in managing AWS EC2 VPC and IAM configurations.
• Nice to have experience with AWS Certificate Manager and AWS Cloud Native Security.
• Nice to have experience with implementing CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline CodeDeploy CodeCommit and CodeBuild.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud issues.
• Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
