General Statement of Responsibilities: The Health Promotion Specialist will lead the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of campus-wide public health strategies to address student alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use and sexual health with flexibility to be assigned to other emerging health campus health priorities in alignment with Boynton Health strategic plan. The Health Promotion Specialist maintains strategic partnerships to advance college health in support of Boynton Health's mission and vision, in alignment with the University's strategic plan. Boynton Health's mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of University of Minnesota students and the campus community. Boynton Health's vision is to be the healthiest campus in the nation. The Health Promotion Specialist is part of Boynton's Health Promotion Public Health team and will report to the Director of Public Health. This position is on-site with hybrid flexibility. Detailed Job Responsibilities: Public Health / Health Promotion Program and Project Management (50%):
Public Health / Health Promotion Systems Change and Planning (50%)
