Security Professional - Distribution Patrol

As a Security Professional - Distribution Patrol in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

In the logistics and distribution location, our Patrol Unarmed Officers are responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. By conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence, they help to deter potential security-related incidents. Officers are expected to provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, embodying our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. With a caring culture that prioritizes people, teamwork, and integrity, our officers play a crucial role in fostering a secure atmosphere. This position requires at least one year of security experience and MD-SP Registration-AUS.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter.
• Adapt to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
