Position Summary

The Business Analyst is a vital member of the Peapack Private Wealth Management team, reporting to the Senior Managing Director. This role is centered on identifying process improvements and implementing solutions to create streamlined and efficient workflows.

The Business Analyst supports and contributes to business analytics projects and processes improvements, providing data-driven insights into business performance. These insights will be used to advise and develop strategies for operational enhancements and future business initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Supports and contributes to business analytics projects and processes to provide data-driven insights related to business performance, the output of which will be used to advise and develop strategies for operational improvements and future business initiatives
  • Develops an understanding of the organizations business model, objectives, issues and challenges by interacting and collaborating with users and stakeholders.
  • Works directly with cross functional teams across the organization and technical teams to understand, define business /operational issues, challenges, and the identification and definition of metrics which represent progress towards resolution.
  • Provide cross functional business units with analytical insights and actionable information to measure and report progress against corporate strategic objectives.
  • Uses statistical methods to recommend improvements to data quality and data collection, which will into creation of dashboards, KPIs, KRIs, and other reports.
  • Create and present data insights in a clear manner and propose solutions to help business leaders understand their business problems and proposed solutions.
  • Analyze data to extract valuable insights with goal to improve marketing techniques and increase cross-sell across the organization.
  • Introduce and implement data science best practices for at Peapack Private Wealth.
  • Supports the strategy office with ad hoc projects including but not limited to investor relations, strategic and capital planning, and performance analysis.


Requirements:



  • 5-7 years of experience with data analytics using Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools. Experience using SQL and Tamarack preferred.
  • Strong project/time management skills with the ability to manage 3-5 projects of various sizes simultaneously and re-prioritize as business needs evolve and change.
  • Experience within the Banking or Financial Services industries preferred
  • Ability to create reports and present findings-insights via various platforms primarily PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to both partner with and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • This is a hybrid role located in Bedminster, NJ 4 days per week.
