The Sr. Project Engineer -Agency/CM is responsible for ensuring all information is distributed properly both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

    Oversee LEED related issues on the project
  • Prepare and issue monthly schedule updates as well as distribution of pre-bid RFIS
  • Assist in determining the contracting strategy for the project
  • Schedule and follows through with activities in the quality plan
  • Facilitate project meetings starting with a Gilbane Cares moment
  • Establish and manage all project procedures such as cost and control
  • Supervises other Project Engineers
  • Coaches and mentors less experienced team members
  • Supports a positive and inclusive work environment


Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • BS or MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 6 years plus with Agency-CM/CM/General Contractor organization
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong verbal presentation and written skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Understanding of Contract Document, Specifications, and cost reports
  • Extensive knowledge of all facets of construction
  • Knowledge of all facets of design
  • Willingness to lead by example, with a strong attention to documentation, detail and accuracy and ability to analyze and resolve issues.

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
For San Jose, CA, this ranges from $103,000 to $128,000 plus benefits and retirement program.
