General Job Description

Performs any or all of the following job duties as assigned:

  • Solder
  • SMT Touch-up
  • Rework and repair
  • Hand/Laser Marking
  • Mechanical Assembly
  • Bonding
  • Routing
  • Mechanical Rework
  • Board Cleaning
  • Material Handling
  • Complex Box Builds
  • Operator Self Inspection
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Performs assessment of product quality
  • Keeps work area clean and orderly
  • Basic computer skills and ability to operate barcode scanning equipment
  • Performs other related duties as assigned



Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of soldering and assembly experience.
  • Vision corrected to 20/20 and ability to distinguish colors.
  • Standing or sitting for extended periods of time may be required.
  • Infrequent lifting and moving of material up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to obtain a US Government granted security clearance



Successful completion of the following training programs (which are provided):

  1. ESD & Class 0 Certification
  2. Component Identification Training
  3. Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Training
  4. Component/PWB Handling
  5. Right-To-Know Training
  6. Moisture Sensitive Devices
  7. IPC & J-STD Solder Certification
  8. IPC 7711/7721 Certification
  9. Move Safe Product
  10. Part Installation
  11. Operator Self Inspection
