Apply to the WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE position now! Job Description Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative (SMECO) has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate. The primary functions of this position will be to receive, record, store, prepackage, issue, and maintain adequate stock of material, equipment and supplies in the SMECO warehouses. This position will also utilize systems of record keeping, assist in delivery of materials, assist with performing daily inventories, and operate mechanical equipment. This position pays $33.25/hr. We are seeking a candidate who communicates well, is dependable, organized, pays attention to details, and works well in a team environment. This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Warehouse experience is desired. Candidate must hold a valid Maryland Commercial Driver's License, Class A, and a current Department of Transportation, Medical Examiner's Certificate. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. Forklift Operation Certification is preferred.
