Description
The Senior Software Engineer, Core Banking DNA designs, builds, and deploys Core Banking DNA solutions to prevent fraud and enhance member and employee experience; while maximizing operational efficiencies in multi-tier environments and using best practices to develop clustered, reliable, scalable, and high-performance applications. Following established configuration/change control processes, this position works closely with peers, stakeholders, and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.

Job Duties
- Lead analysis, design, development, and deployment of complex applications across functional teams involving multiple integration and other technologies to meet committed deliverables
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to deliver solutions to meet the business need with quality and within the defined timeline
- Design, develop, test, and implement solutions for Core Banking DNA applications to prevent fraud loss using PL/SQL, SQL, Perl, Python, cView, FiServ DNA tools, and FiServ APIs
- Design and write software technical specifications, software code, and perform unit testing
- Work closely with business partners, architect, and technical groups to review, design, and implement requirements and strategy; provide estimates for development effort
- Participate and identify potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability, as part of the production go-live warranty support period and L3 production support of systems during regular and off-hours
Essential Skills
- Minimum 6 years' experience as a Software Engineer, including system analysis, design, development, and deployment; preferably in the financial services industry
- Minimum 2 years of experience on the following:
- Python development (Python 3)
- Perl development (modern Perl, v. 5.10+)
- Broad knowledge of SQL and relational-database fundamentals
- PL/SQL development
- XML, JSON formats
- SOAP API development
- RESTful APIs
- Ability to independently analyze/troubleshoot problems with code and data
- Familiarity with SCRUM as a development method for Agile Development
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related fields of study, or equivalent work experience

Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR:
$125k - $140k annually + annual bonus
Target Compensation inRocklin, CA 95765:
$137k - $155k annually + annual bonus
