Summary: The Senior Director of BD & Strategy will be the global leader for Baxter's Connected Care Group. This role will develop the organic and inorganic business strategy for the Connected Care Group. Additionally, this individual will work across the organization to guide company-wide connected care strategy. She/he will focus on research, analysis, strategy generation, and deal origination to accelerate growth for the Connected Care group and the entire company. There are three core responsibilities: 1) Business strategy generation (Connected Care Group) 2) Inorganic growth strategy (e.g., partnerships, venture investment, M&A) 3) Connected Care strategy (Baxter-wide) This role sits within the Connected Care Group and reports into the Vice President, Product Management & Innovation. There will be a team of 3 direct reports that will be responsible for driving growth of the portfolio. Key stakeholders in the Connected Care Group include Product Management, R&D, Sales, Project Management, and Operations. Across the broader organization, one will also interact with other marketing, product management, medical affairs, business development, sales, regional, and quality teams. This position is accountable for driving strategy for the Connected Care group, guiding the organization-wide connected care strategy, and delivering growth with inorganic execution. There is the need for consistent messaging and structured priorities across the business. In order to be successful, she/he must balance quick results based on the immediate needs of the organization with longer-term creative to drive compounding growth. This role will require flexibility (e.g., projects changing weekly) and hard work - where one is highly present in a virtual and in-person environment. We are seeking a collaborative, high-energy, and agile individual who has an in-depth knowledge of the healthcare and investing ecosystem. Although this will be a manager role, individual contribution will be expected and standard. Baxter is looking for someone deeply passionate about how Connected Care can help solve our customers' most pressing issues and redefine healthcare delivery. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $216,000 - $297,000annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentive.
