Purpose of the Job The Manager, Business Analysis is a key IT leadership position who will lead a team of Business Analysts to create an effective conduit between the Credit Union business stakeholders, the Credit Union IT staff and 3rd party technology vendors. The Manager will lead the Business Analyst team to translate business needs into technical solution concepts and specifications. The Manager is also responsible for leading the team to coordinate and complete the Quality Assurance testing lifecycle to ensure defect-free technology implementations and upgrades. The Manager will enable the Credit Union business teams to achieve goals by delivering sound technology solutions by collaborating with other CU technology teams and 3rd party technology vendors to align work efforts. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Leads, mentors, and manages a team of Business Analysts, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Sets clear goals, provides regular feedback, and conducts performance evaluations to drive team development.
- Oversees resource allocation and team capacity to maintain efficiency and meet project deadlines.
- Ensures business requirements are properly analyzed, documented, and validated for system implementations and upgrades.
- Ensures all system projects align with business objectives, timelines, budgets, and compliance requirements.
- Drives accountability for working with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and define clear deliverables.
- Ensures implementation plans minimize disruptions to Credit Union operations and business continuity.
- Reviews and approves functional specifications and technical solutions to ensure business requirements are met.
- Oversees business process analysis and ensures the team identifies and recommends optimization opportunities.
- Ensures seamless integration of new systems with existing platforms and oversees system enhancements.
- Monitors communication between the Business Analyst team, IT, and external vendors to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Partners with senior management to identify and support strategic initiatives through system development.
- Ensures collaboration with Information Security, Database, and Infrastructure teams to ensure system reliability, security, and compliance.
- Engages with third-party technology vendors and business partners to drive continuous improvement and cost-effective solutions.
- Identifies and recommends innovative solutions to address business challenges and enhance system performance.
- Ensures rigorous quality standards, testing procedures, and user acceptance testing (UAT) throughout the system development lifecycle.
- Proactively assesses and mitigates risks associated with system implementations, upgrades, and process changes.
- Ensures proper documentation, training, and knowledge transfer are completed to support system adoption and ongoing operations.

- Must have strong PC skills, with proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Must have the ability to understand all business processes within the Credit Union, as well as, understanding the underlying technologies supporting those business processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required, with the ability to research issues, summarize findings, and recommend resolution options.
- Must have strong critical thinking skills and experience in communicating change impact analysis.
- Must be detail-oriented and well-organized.
- Must be able to work on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced and complex business environment under minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a general office environment.
- Must be flexible and able to shift resources and priorities as required.
- Should possess a strong commitment to providing excellent service to Truliant's internal and external members.
Physical Requirements
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, and stooping required.
- Must be able to sit at a desk for moderate periods of time and use a computer.
- Must be able to moderately lift or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds.
Education and Background
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, or a related field required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience supporting critical application software (on-premise and SaaS).
- 10 years of Business Systems Analyst experience in the financial services industry or with core systems may be considered in lieu of the years of leadership experience requirement.
- A working knowledge of the fundamentals of the financial industry is required.
