For more information about the company and product line visit: www.sigsauer.com Position Summary: Serve as the manager for the SIG SAUER Competitions Program. Responsible for the development and management of all SIG SAUER competitive shooting programs and the execution of all competitive shooting events. The Program Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Academy, Events, Marketing, Customer Service, Commercial Sales, and Facilities to ensure SIG SAUER Competitions Program supports broader SIG SAUER objectives. FLSA: Exempt Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop productive working relationships across SIG business groups.
- Manage the SIG SAUER Academy (SSA) Competition Program, and other SIG SAUER competitive event schedules.
- Coordinate and assist SHOOT SIG consultant and volunteers as needed.
- Develop innovative competitive events that engage a broad competitor demographic.
- Develop and manage the SIG SAUER Competitions Program budget. Identify cost savings, revenue potentials, and forecast for future Competition Program initiatives. Ensure events stay within budget while maximizing profitability and customer reach.
- Coordinate with SSA Operations, Facilities, and Armorers to efficiently use resources to execute the SSA Competition Program.
- Manage competitive event requests and coordinate resources to meet event objectives.
- Conduct business development to build and maintain relationships with clubs and ranges across the country in support of SIG SAUER Competition Programs.
- Adequately staff events using volunteers, contractors, and SIG SAUER employees.
- Recruit event volunteers and communicate SIG SAUER protocols and event expectations. Ensure volunteers reflect SIG SAUER values.
- Develop targeted standalone competitions that support broader SIG SAUER marketing and sales initiatives.
- Interface with Marketing for support of upcoming events and to identify potential promotional opportunities.
- Compile pre-event details and distribute to the necessary supporting entities.
- Oversee the management of SIG SAUER Practiscore and other event registration accounts.
- Monitor the SIG SAUER Competitions email inbox and ensure timely responses.
- Develop sponsorship agreements for SIG SAUER Competitions events.
- Develop policies and procedures to ensure a safe, consistent, and high-quality customer experience.
Education/Experience & Skills:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of experience managing a geographically dispersed competitive shooting program or similar recreational program.
- Strong leadership skills and confidence in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, reporting, and professional skills.
- High-level competitive shooting experience preferred.
- Must have a high degree of organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience developing and managing events utilizing a combination of volunteers, contractors, and employees.
- Must be able to multi-task while meeting needs of a rapidly changing environment.
- Self-directed and able to complete projects independently.
- Ability to evaluate multiple ongoing tasks and non-routine situations, determine priorities and organize work in a manner that allows for timely completion of projects within deadline parameters.
- Capable of presenting a positive, professional image of the company to a wide variety of contacts.
- Comfortable interacting with internal and external customers on a daily basis.
- Able to work both in a team environment and independently, taking direction from multiple staff members and supervisors.
Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
- Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates.
