Job Description

  • $1/hour shift differential for 2nd shift positions

Essential Functions:

Work assignments may include rack inspection (check for broken welds & bent shelves), greasing wheels, replacing broken wheels and casters, transporting production racks, tear down racks and other general laborer responsibilities. Perform general laborer responsibilities as needed. Other duties as assigned. In the absence of key personnel the employee's supervisor or qualified designee (one that has been trained in the key employee's duties) is responsible to complete or delegate the completion of all required tasks and responsibilities

Physical Requirements Essential:

  • Ability to operate a hydraulic jack/pallet jack.
  • Position requires heavy lifting 10 -100 lbs. and must be able to transport production racks (350 lbs. - 2500lbs per rack).
  • Good upper leather boot required.

Qualifications:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Forklift experience preferred, but not necessary.
  • Self starter and self directed is needed.
  • The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • High School or GED equivalent preferred, but not required.
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to cold, hot and wet conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
