THOR Solutions is actively seeking a highly motivated Program Analyst to support the United States Coast Guard (USCG) in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will provide program management support and coordination for NIWCLANT representatives embedded at USCG Headquarters and the various acquisition program management offices.

Typical Responsibilities: The candidate's responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) performing, or supporting the following onsite actions.
  • Coordinate drawing requirements for the program management office
  • Read and review drawings made for the program management office.
  • Read and review technical documentation for C5ISC programs.
  • Coordinate timelines for deliveries of technical documentation of C5ISC systems.
  • Support NIWCLANT requirement development for USCG customers
  • Coordinate different programs to meet milestones and deliveries in accordance with NIWCLANT requirements
  • Coordinate DoDAF viewpoint creation with third party entities within USCG

Location: Primarily onsite at USCG Headquarters in Washington, DC.

Typical Physical Activity: Desk/computer work in an office environment. May involve: repetitive motion.

US Citizenship Required:Due to the requirements of the federal contract that this position supports, current U.S. citizenship is required. Citizenship will be confirmed via I-9/E-Verify at the start of employment.

Existing SECRET Security Clearance Required:This position requires a DoD SECRET security clearance. Only candidates with this existing or interim clearance will be considered.

Typical Pay Range: The anticipated pay range for this position in the identified location(s) is $90,000 - $100,000. Actual compensation offered will be based upon individual factors including education, qualifications, and experience.

Travel Requirements:
  • Up to 25% travel anticipated.

Typical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
  • At least three (3) years of recent, relevant experience supporting USCG programs.
  • Demonstrated experience with documentation and drawing review
  • Demonstrated experience with program management support experience.
  • Documented experience in coordinating and supporting technical programs
  • Experience with engineering and supporting USCG C5ISC systems
  • Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework process
  • Knowledge of engineering spirals
  • Knowledge of Cross Domain Solutions requirements
  • Proficiency with common productivity software.
  • Strong communication skills.
