What you will do-

The Casting Operator is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Casting table. This includes but is not limited to monitoring a continual chemical process, creating batches, operating a computerized process control system, taking measurements with various gauges, hoist use, and keeping/maintaining records individually and within a team-oriented shift environment.

How will you do it-



  • Maintain awareness and achievement of production goals.
  • Perform duties in accordance with written instruction and procedures and in compliance with safety and environmental training and policies.
  • Be able to work with multiple chemical solutions consistent with product requirements.
  • Perform mixing operations according to instructions and ensure accurate mixing of product.
  • Monitor the performance of plant equipment and process conditions utilizing various instruments, gauges and meters.
  • Complete ongoing annual and job-specific training as required and on time.
  • Communicate with engineering and maintenance staff as required.
  • Monitor and record all required production data.
  • Demonstrate awareness of existing workplace hazards and have the ability to assess and respond to potentially unsafe situations.
  • Understand and commit to following all Environmental, Health and Safety procedures and practices and empowered to professionally intervene when required.
  • Prepare proper labels or disposal containers with exact contents and batch numbers.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and 6S.
  • Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures

  • No prior experience or training is required.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Previous production work experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical process or manufacturing company preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal English communication skills to understand detailed instructions.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency in different production areas and related equipment following a training plan.
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts; 4 days on/4 days off with overtime as needed.

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds / frequently lift and/or move up to 50pounds / continually lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: Fork trucks, Hoists
