We're currently hiring Packaging Machine Operators to join our team. As a Packaging Machine Operator, you'll play a key role in helping us produce high-quality products while working with state-of-the-art equipment in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities




  • Operate and fine-tune packaging equipment, setting parameters and requirements for optimal production.



  • Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on packaging machinery to keep everything running smoothly.



  • Handle adjustments, changeovers, and repairs to ensure efficient production.



  • Inspect and measure parts of the equipment to meet precise quality specifications.



  • Record production data and complete required documentation according to safety and quality standards.



  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to monitor product quality and address any issues.



  • Communicate production schedules and changes to the team to keep operations running efficiently.



  • Help manage team breaks and lunches while maintaining positive communication and teamwork.



  • Follow safety protocols, helping maintain a zero-accident culture, and proactively suggest improvements to enhance the workplace.




Requirements:





  • Strong attention to detail and a quick response to changes in production.



  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.



  • Previous experience with general mechanic tools and production equipment.



  • A commitment to following all food safety, personal safety, and company policies.



  • Self-motivated and eager to collaborate with a team to achieve common goals.



  • A proactive mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement.

  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Ability to respond to changes quickly and pay close attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safe operating practices involved in the use of lock-out/tag-out programs and food safety.
  • Experience with general mechanic tools (Allen wrenches, screw drivers, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to operate production and data entry equipment.
