Utz is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in Hanover, PA. This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to two years of experience who have a strong analytical mindset, a passion for learning, and a self-starter attitude. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial modeling, data analysis, and business reporting while leveraging exceptional PowerPoint and presentation skills to communicate insights effectively. This is a hybrid role, with some time spent in office each week. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data, trends, and key performance indicators to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Develop clear, compelling, and visually engaging presentations and reports for leadership teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and interpret financial and operational data.
- Support financial analysis on cost efficiency, profitability, and operational improvements.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to provide data-driven recommendations.
- Maintain and improve financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
- Conduct detailed financial modeling, company valuations, and due diligence to support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments.
- Perform industry research, competitive analysis, and assist in preparing investment memos, presentations, and transaction documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 0 - 2 years in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial software is a plus. experience with Power BI, D365 and Onestream is a plus (instead of financial software)
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills with the ability to create impactful decks and executive-level presentations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to accuracy in financial data.
- Fast-paced environment that requires organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility to perform at levels to meet peak demands in periods of high volume and activity.
