We are currently seeking a Hydro Operator, Advanced Apprentice to join our Power Generation team at the Hydro Generation Operation Facility in Fresh Pond, located about 60 miles east of Sacramento and 15 miles east of Placerville.

1. Please share any experiences you have with hydro generation units, even if it was through coursework, internships, or site visits. If you have worked with specific types of units, let us know which ones, and describe any tasks or observations you were involved in.
2. Describe any situations where you observed or assisted with high voltage switching tasks. Include the context of your involvement, such as a training exercise or classroom demonstration, and mention any safety practices you learned or followed.
3. Tell us about any interactions you've had with automation systems or computer displays, such as during training sessions, labs, or internships. Describe the types of systems you have seen or used and any tasks you performed, even if they were basic or introductory. If you have familiarity with specific software or technologies, please mention them.

Written Exam Details:

• The most qualified candidates will be invited to the written exam.
• The examination is tentatively scheduled to be held the first week of May 2025.
• Candidates selected to take the exam will be notified via email.
• Exams are strictly PASS/FAIL, results will be sent to each applicant approximately two weeks from the exam date.
