Position: Strategic Marketing Manager - Clutches & Brakes Division

Reports Directly To: Sr. Director Strategic Marketing

Location: Remote Job, USA

Scope of role

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Strategic Marketing (Clutches & Brakes), the Strategic Marketing Manager will be instrumental in shaping our organization's thought leadership across both current and emerging vertical end-markets globally. This role involves close collaboration with business development and product management teams to implement global growth strategies that deliver unique value propositions and achieve sustained, above-market sales growth.

The Strategic Marketing Manager will work alongside product managers, business development, sales leaders, and corporate marketing to develop, implement, and manage marketing strategies that support the strategic growth initiatives of our Clutch & Brake division. This includes providing marketing leadership and vision, initiating demand creation activities, and driving the commercialization strategy for new product development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business development and product management teams to deploy key growth initiatives within targeted industry segments.

  • Conduct research on industry peers with marketing analysts to benchmark best industry marketing practices

  • Perform external researchand engage with internal stakeholders to understand industry dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape to create compelling marketing materials.

  • Develop marketing communication strategies together with the IPS marketing team to drive growth for Clutch & Brake strategic initiatives and targeted global end markets.

  • Provide marketing thought leadership focused on customer solutions, driving sales growth through targeted marketing effort and collaborate with IPS Marketing to launch omni channel campaigns to support division growth initiatives.

  • Work with product management to create strong differentiating product / market value propositions and customer collateral to articulate the benefits of our products to our potential customers.

  • Develop and execute Commercial launch plans in collaboration with the product management team, creating necessary content to support new product launches.

  • Develop sales enablement tools in partnership with product management and IPS Marketing for enhanced customer engagement.

  • Work with product managers, business development and sales leader to generate success stories, get technical articles written or make presentations at technical conferences (have line of sight for technical focus for industry magazines that could be related to expertise).

  • Help facilitate policy deployment process with the C&B business development team.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have proven experience and qualifications in the following:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of product marketing experience in a B2B industrial manufacturing enterprise, preferably with highly engineered products.

  • Proven track record of delivering growth though superior strategy building and industrial marketing, and new product commercialization.

  • Direct experience within any of our targeted vertical markets a plus. such as Mining & Metals, Energy, Marine, Crane & Hoist, Forklift Truck, Farm & Agriculture, Construction, Turf & Garden, Medical, Aerospace.

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing preferred.

Skills:

  • Self-Starter: able to work in a non-structured environment while maintaining personal accountability for achieving defined objectives.

  • Strong interpersonal and confident communication skills.

  • Strong collaboration skills: able to drive action and motivate / influence associates in various positions throughout the organization without direct lines of authority.

  • Ability to deal effectively with a variety of abstract and concrete variables and apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical issues.

  • Great organization, time management and prioritization abilities.

  • Drives execution - is results and action oriented.

  • Significant project management skills- manage multiple projects at one time while also meeting required deadlines.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 20%) as required.

Expected Salary: $81,800 - $110,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits

Please note that compensation is based on a variety of factors when extending offer, including but not limited to, the role, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, qualifications, and business considerations.
